Understanding Claims

A claim is a demand made against you or your business for some type of loss or damage. It is not unusual for claims to be filed days, weeks or even years after the actual incident. Claims made long after an incident benefit the injured party and work against our clients.

When notified of an incident, Evergreen's claims management team swings into action. They investigate the scene, interview witnesses, make an initial assessment regarding liability and engage in responsible dialogue with your customers.

Effective incident management keeps claim payments, if any, to a minimum and may avoid involving attorneys.

Prompt Claims Resolution

If liability exists on the part of the insured park or its operators, our policy is to resolve that claim as quickly and equitably as possible within the constraints established by the policy. When the insured park or its operators have no liability, and we are able to defend that position, the claim will be denied.
